Second edition of the ‘Assises de la Voie du Puy‘
The Voie du Puy is a 750 km route to Santiago de Compostela (on the French side) from Puy-en-Velay in the Haute-Loire to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. It crosses three French regions. The GR65®, known as the Voie du Puy or via Podiensis, is a long-distance hiking route marked by the Fédération Française de la Randonnée Pédestre.
Conferences to walk together:
The Agence française des chemins de Compostelle (AFCC) runs the ‘Grandes Itinérances’, financed by the Comité du Massif Central with the support of the Fonds National d’Aménagement et de Développement du Territoire (FNADT) for the Route du Puy – GR®65, as part of a collective approach to structuring and promoting itineraries as a lever for sustainable regional development.
In order to develop this route, the AFCC is organising the 2nd Assises de la Voie du Puy – GR®65 on 26 and 27 September 2024 in Golinhac, Aveyron.
Organised by the Percolab Agency, the general objective of the conference is to bring together stakeholders around and develop common projects to enable their implementation.
It is a key moment for actors on the way to:
– Meet together, encourage exchanges between people involved in the pathway
– Reflect together to improve the path of the Way
– Learn from each other’s experiences to advance the development of the Way.
