Route of Santiago and inauguration of the pilgrim hostel in Magueija

ROUTE OF SANTIAGO – will be held on Saturday, May 20.
In the Municipality of Lamego, the Portuguese Inland Way of Saint James begins in Bigorne and ends in Lugar do Torrão (next to the Douro River), for a total of 29 km, duly signalled with the yellow shell symbol on a plate with a blue background.
The Route to Santiago – in the Municipality of Lamego will be covered in a single day, with the following format: in the morning we will walk the southern part – starting in Bigorne, stopping at 11am in the parish of Magueija for the inauguration of the hostel and finishing in Lamego. In the afternoon, the northern part of our municipality will be covered, starting in Lamego and finishing in Lugar do Torrão (near the Lamego-Régua pedestrian bridge).
It is also possible to attend only in the morning or in the afternoon. To join the afternoon group you must be near the Santiago milestone, in Comércio Square, Lamego, at 2:45 pm and wait for the group.
