Croatian pilgrims walked the Camino trail since 1203 AD. Currently the routes in Croatia stretches over 2.000 km.

 

The Roads through Croatia

Croatian Camino routes have 20 stages. Currently more than 10 stages are active, waymarked and with pilgrim infrastructure, several others are currently in development. 

The South Istria way connects Pula and Fažana. Šibenik has a historic cathedral of St. James prescribed in the UNESCO World Heritage list. Dubrovnik-Medjugorje Camino comprise six delightful stages from the enchanting St. Jakov Monastery in Dubrovnik from 1222 to the picturesque St. Jakov Church in Međugorje.
