The Way of St. James was represented in the II economic forum of Warmia (Warmia-Mazurian Voivodship, Poland) by the president of the European Federation of Saint James Way and director of Xacobeo, Ildefonso de la Campa Montenegro, who was part of the delegation that, led by the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Galicia, participated in the event, held on 11 September in the district of Olsztyn, and that had as one of its highlights, the presentation of the Way of St. James as the First European Cultural Itinerary and engine of regional development.
The 2nd Warmia Economic Forum in Poland is a key platform to foster economic ties and discuss regional development. This event brings together business leaders and local authorities, such as the Marshal (governor) of the region, Gustaw Marek Brzezin, together with mayors from various cities of the Varmia and Masuria Voivodeship.
